Celebrating My Fab 50 blog followers and my very First Award !!

First of all let me wish everyone a very Happy Janmashtami !!Had a really busy day that day  cleaning up the entire house and finally managing to cook up some festive goodies in the evening.Didn't really get the time to post anything but was very satisified at having single handedly cleaned up the entire house for the holy occasion and also having made   Paneer Makhani,Fruit n Nut Pilaf and Chocolate and Ricotta cheese Pedas for dinner (recipes coming soon).I logged in late at night to find two surprises waiting for me.

First the wonderful followers of my blog on Google Friend Connect  had reached the number 50 in a short period of time plus 10 more on Twitter and 7 on Facebook.Thank you so much my dear friends for your wonderful comments which really is a morale booster and keeps me going!!.The  second surprise was I received my VERY  FIRST  AWARD of $ 50 from the CSN giveaway(http://www.csnstores.com/) which was hosted by Shabitha Karthikeyan who is a software professional in the USA and also writes a wonderful foodblog at
